Who we are. UrBudget is provided by [Legal name] (“UrBudget”, “we”, “us”). Contact: support@urbudget.app.
The 14-day money-back guarantee
- Lifetime license: ask within 14 days of buying it and we'll refund it in full. No questions asked, though we'd love to hear what didn't work for you.
- Sync: ask within 14 days of your first Sync payment and we'll refund that first month in full.
The free 30-day trial lets you try every feature of the app before paying, so we hope you won't need this. But the guarantee is there if you do.
How to ask for a refund
Either of these works:
- Email support@urbudget.app from the address you used at checkout, or include that address and, if you have it, the order number from your receipt.
- Reply to your Polar receipt; Polar handled the payment.
What happens next
The full amount, including any tax charged, is refunded through Polar to the payment method you used. Refunds are usually processed within a few business days; your bank or card issuer may take longer to show it.
A refunded license is deactivated: the next time the app is online, it goes back to read-only. Your budgets stay on your computer, and you can always open, view and export them.
When Sync is refunded, the subscription is canceled too, so you won't be charged again. Your budgets on your computers aren't affected, and you can remove the encrypted cloud copies by deleting your account.
After the 14 days
- Licenses: generally not refundable after 14 days. If something has gone wrong, such as being charged twice or a license that won't activate, write to us anyway and we'll make it right.
- Sync: you can cancel at any time from your account page. Sync then runs until the end of the month you've paid for, and you won't be charged again. Later months aren't refunded, except for billing errors or where the law requires.
Who handles payments
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Polar Software, Inc. (“Polar”), the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Polar handles payment, sales tax and VAT, receipts, and refunds.
Your statutory rights
This policy is in addition to your rights under consumer law and doesn't limit them. If you open a payment dispute or chargeback, please contact us first: we can usually resolve it faster.
