All of the app. There are no tiers, and the trial includes the same features.

Questions
What happens after the 30-day trial?
UrBudget opens read-only. You can open, read and export every budget, but not change it. Adding a license unlocks it again.
Is it really one payment?
Yes. The license is $9 once and includes future updates. Sync is the only recurring charge, and it's optional.
How does my license work on more than one computer?
Your license works on all your own computers. Enter the same key in Settings → License on each one.
How do I activate my license?
In UrBudget, open Settings → License, paste the key and choose Activate. The app checks the key once, and after that the license works offline.
Your key is shown right after checkout and emailed to you. If you lose it, it's also on your account page.
Do I need an account to buy a license?
No. Checkout asks for an email address so the key and receipt can reach you. If you're signed in when you buy, the license also appears on your account page.
What does Sync cost, and what does it do?
$2 a month. It keeps your budgets the same on all your computers. Each computer encrypts a budget with your sync passphrase before uploading it, so the server can't read it.
Do I need Sync to use UrBudget on two computers?
No. You can export a budget on one computer and import it on the other. Sync does that for you, continuously.
What if I forget my sync passphrase?
We can't recover it, because we never see it. Your budgets are still on your computers, so reset sync in UrBudget, choose a new passphrase and they upload again.
What happens if I cancel Sync?
Sync keeps working until the end of the month you've paid for, then stops. The budgets on your computers aren't affected. Cancel from your account page under Manage subscription.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Email support@urbudget.app within 14 days of buying a license or starting Sync and we'll refund it. See the refund policy for the details.
Who handles the payment?
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Polar Software, Inc. (“Polar”), the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Polar handles payment, sales tax and VAT, receipts, and refunds.
Depending on where you live, Polar may add sales tax or VAT at checkout. Your receipt comes from Polar.
